This farm is my passion. I began my journey 30 years ago when I fist visited Caprilands Herb Farm, the creation of “The First Lady of Herbs” Adelma Simmons in Coventry, Connecticut. I was hooked! I began reading books about herbs, and attending walks and workshops. In 2014, I obtained a certificate in The Science and Art of Herbalism, taught by a pioneer in American herbalism, Rosemary Gladstar.
Inspired by these remarkable women, I created EARTH, WIND & FIRE FARM LLC, a small herb farm committed to growing herbs with care on healthy soil according to organic standards. All of our products are hand crafted in small batches from the herbs we grow on the farm when possible. We are members of the Northeast Organic Farmer’s Association (NOFA) and the Connecticut Herb Association (CHA).
EARTH, WIND & FIRE FARM offers medicinal, cosmetic and culinary products along with weed walks, weed lunches, and herbal and whole food workshops.
Our new location in Ashford, Connecticut gives us 19 acres of land with an herb barn recently built & medicinal herb gardens added for garden tours.
